Loved exploring the prehistoric sites in the "valley of man". The regional cuisine was to die for. A fully equipped kitchen was a bonus. Enjoyed hiking and fishing. Great for history buffs like me.
Trying to find suitable dining options for my picky taste was such a fun challenge.

The suite was spacious and had a nice common kitchen with free coffee and cookies. The host was friendly and accommodating. The town was close to important archeological sites and beautiful châteaux. We had a great time canoeing down the river and exploring the area.
Being in a small town meant that dinner reservations were necessary and sometimes hard to come by. We also found that the French tend to eat dinner early, which made it difficult for us to find food in time.
